Accepting non-standard projects from brands
How to respond to straight-to-match and extension projects you've been invited to
Our standard StudioSpace experience allows brands to match with up to 3 agencies on our marketplace to answer and deliver a brief they have submitted. In some cases, a brand will want to work directly with you, either through a direct match, or by extending a project you have already worked with them on.
Accepting a straight-to-match (direct) project
A straight-to-match project allows a brand to skip our matching experience and directly match with a single agency. If you have been selected by a brand, you will receive a notification that you've been invited to work on a project:

This form of matching is typically reserved for brands who have already worked with an agency, or have made a formal introduction with them ahead of creating a project. For this reason, straight-to-match projects do not have briefs attached to them.
To accept a straight-to-match project, select "Review invite" and follow the prompts on screen. If you accept, you will be prompted to create a Draft Statement of Work, as you would in a standard project. You can learn more about creating a Draft Statement of Work here.
Accepting an extension project
Extension projects are continuations of a project that you are currently delivering for a brand. This allows a direct link to the original project, whilst completing a new statement of work to cover additional scope of work, fees and terms.

To accept an extension project, select "Accept Extension Request" and follow the prompts on screen. If you accept, you will be prompted to create a Draft Statement of Work, as you would in a standard project. You can learn more about creating a Draft Statement of Work here.
Extension projects have a few differences when creating the Draft Statement of Work:
- You are able to reference the original project for sections such as project description, objectives and more
- Proposals are no longer required, unless the client has requested it
- An extension cannot begin before the current end date of the original project
- Deliverables are not carried over from a brief, as it's assumed all deliverables are new
- Staffing is carried over from the previous project
