Straight to match: Matching directly to a single agency

When you want to match with a specific agency on StudioSpace

Our standard StudioSpace experience is built to introduce brands to world-class independent agencies on our platform, matching up to three of them for each project you submit on StudioSpace. In some cases, your brand will want to work specifically with a single agency.

This can be because you've worked with this agency before (both on and off StudioSpace), or you have found them on our marketplace and find them to be the perfect fit for your project.

Before you directly match with an agency

Prepare a project brief

As you will be matching directly with a single agency, you will not be submitting a project brief to StudioSpace for approval. We therefore recommend you have a brief in place that allows the agency to respond promptly via the Statement of Work once they accept.

Need help? You can either use our brief generator, or get in contact with us and we will help Shape your Brief.

Request introduction

If you have not worked with an agency before but want to match with them directly, we highly recommend requesting an introduction with them through their StudioSpace profile.

This will notify the StudioSpace team that you want to be introduced to this agency, and they will reach out to you to learn more about your project.

Creating a direct-match project

After successfully completing a project on StudioSpace, you will have the ability to create a Straight to Match project.

You will then be prompted to provide a minimum amount of information for the project to be submitted, including which agency you would like to select for your project. Once the project is created, the agency will be invited to accept the project.

After the agency accepts the project

If the agency accepts the project, they will be prompted to complete a Draft Statement of Work. To learn more about the contracting process on StudioSpace, please visit here.

What if the agency does not accept the project?

If the agency does not accept, your project will be returned to draft status and you will be asked to create a project brief on StudioSpace. This will allow you to go through our standard matching process with up to three agencies on our marketplace.
